Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau reviewed the life and great contributions of Third Prize Winner Nguyen Huy Oanh, famous person Nguyen Huy Tu and famous person Nguyen Huy Ho in various fields.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province said that with the dedication, hard work, and responsibility of the generations of descendants in the family and the attention of the province and the Central Government, in November 2022, the Han Nom Documents of Truong Luu village were honored to be inscribed by UNESCO on the list of documentary heritage of the world memory of the Asia-Pacific region.
Han Nom documents are a collection of royal decrees to honor, bestow gifts, and confer titles on a number of people from different clans in Truong Luu village.
This is a collection of royal decrees of the Later Le and Nguyen dynasties to honor, bestow, and confer titles on a number of people from the Nguyen Huy, Tran, Hoang, and Phan families of Truong Luu village... These documents were written in Chinese and Nom characters on Do paper and silk between 1689 and 1943. These documents are now rare documents on culture and education, each document is a unique work of art.
"In particular, up to now, Truong Luu is the only village in Vietnam with 3 heritages listed as documentary heritages of the Memory of the World Program in the Asia-Pacific region, including: Phuc Giang School Woodblocks, Hoang Hoa Su Trinh Do, and Han Nom Documents. This is truly a great honor for the Nguyen Huy family, the people of Truong Luu village and Ha Tinh province. These documents will forever be invaluable assets that our ancestors left for our descendants," said Mr. Chau.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province also informed that the province is currently paying great attention to preserving and promoting the system of tangible and intangible cultural heritages in the area to promote economic and social development. Ha Tinh hopes to continue receiving the attention and assistance of the Central Government and international organizations to, together with the local internal resources, contribute to the province's increasingly rapid and sustainable development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong congratulated Ha Tinh when the Han Nom documents of Truong Luu village were recorded by UNESCO in the list of documentary heritage of the Memory of the World Program in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism suggested that Ha Tinh province urgently plan the Truong Luu cultural village and have a master plan for preserving the province's tangible and intangible cultural heritages. In addition, it is necessary to mobilize resources, step up activities to promote, introduce and honor the heritages of the province and Truong Luu village.
"I also hope that families and heritage owners will continue to join hands and contribute with the State to protect and exploit effectively and scientifically the entire cultural heritage treasure of the nation, considering it an honor, pride, and great responsibility of each citizen towards their homeland and country," the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized.
Immediately after the speech, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong awarded the certificate of recognition of the Han Nom documents of Truong Luu village as a documentary heritage of the Memory of the World Program in the Asia-Pacific region to Ha Tinh province.
