Due to having just gone through high intensity activities in the opening match against Japan on the evening of January 14, coach Philippe Troussier divided the team into two groups.
Yesterday's team did some gym and sauna work at the hotel. The other team went to the field to practice tactics and strengthen their physical foundation.
The training session of the Vietnamese team took place in hot weather. However, the players showed great determination and tried their best to score points with the French coach.
In the match against Japan, many players have not played a single minute, including Quang Hai, Duy Manh, Van Thanh, Van Tung... All hope to be in the starting lineup in the upcoming crucial match against Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Mr. Troussier and his assistants went directly to the stadium to watch Iraq beat Indonesia 3-1 in Group D on the evening of January 15. The French strategist is especially interested in the Indonesian team - the next opponent of the Vietnamese team in the 2023 Asian Cup.
