The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2023, sponsored bySun Group and co-organized with the People's Committee of Da Nang City, has officially ended, with the final night themed "A World Without Distance".

Tens of thousands of people and tourists poured into the city center streets, standing on both sides of the Han River. Restaurants were sold out, hotels with a view of the fireworks had to be booked at least 2 weeks in advance… It seemed that no one wanted to miss the last night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.

Not disappointing expectations, the final night of DIFF 2023 conquered the most demanding audiences. The French and Italian teams put all their heart into bringing a perfect ending to DIFF 2023. The night sky of Da Nang exploded in a feast of light and music , the beautiful fireworks displays in the sky truly connected people in a "world without distance".

Speaking at the final night, Comrade Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City emphasized: With the theme "A world without distance", Da Nang City expressed the message of connection, erasing geographical distance, so that countries and peoples can come closer together with the desire for peace, love and hope for good things.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City affirmed that the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2023 contributes to building the dreams and aspirations of the city that will continue to be nurtured and spread. Da Nang will constantly strive and make efforts so that every citizen can enjoy happiness, the city develops prosperously, safely and has a living environment in harmony and sustainability with nature. In that journey, Da Nang City has, is and hopes to continue to receive support from the Central Government, other localities, the companionship of organizations, individuals, the business community and those who love this city.

As the first team to perform, Italy once again affirmed the class of the team that has won the DIFF championship twice. Like the piano song River Flow In You that the Italian team chose, the whole audience was immersed in the "flow" of the Han River, when the giant fireworks exploded to the vibrant rock melody of the song Gossip, the EDM song Wake Me Up was transformed into a country sound and certainly could not lack the classic, majestic Italian style.

France – the team with the highest score in the qualifying round, “enchanted” the audience with an emotional fireworks display. The theme “World without distance” was performed very well by the team, bringing the audience eye-catching fireworks displays with French, US-UK and Kpop music. The audience kept swaying to the music when listening to BTS’s Dynamite or Lady Gaga’s Stupid Love, then immersed themselves in sweet emotions with the remixed love song La vie en rose and the majestic Non, je ne regrette rien.

The moment that all the audience was waiting for was when the two teams used Vietnamese songs for their performances. The French team made the audience excited when choosing the song “Bay” by Thu Minh, while the Italian team made the entire audience emotional, singing along and full of pride with “Vietnam in my heart” by Thuy Chi.

“A night of fireworks that was so eye-catching, beyond imagination. The way the two teams used music was extremely impressive and the fireworks effects I had never seen before,” said Duy An, a tourist in Hanoi, who could not contain his emotions and excitement until he left the stands.  

With performances that completely convinced the audience and the judges, the French team won the championship cup, receiving a prize with a total value of 20,000 USD.
