In the final match of the Southeast Asian Women's Futsal Championship held last night (November 21) in the Philippines, the Vietnamese women's futsal team defeated Thailand 2-1. This is the first time the Vietnamese women's futsal team has won the regional indoor football tournament.
The team arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport (HCMC) this afternoon (November 22).
A rather special character related to the 2024 Southeast Asian futsal championship of the Vietnamese women's team is Tran Thi Thuy Trang. This girl will go down in history as a player who won the AFF Cup women's football (11-a-side football) and AFF Cup indoor football (futsal).
Captain Trinh Nguyen Thanh Hang is also the best player in this year's Southeast Asian tournament.
Top scorer of the 2024 Southeast Asian tournament Nguyen Phuong Anh. She was also the main striker in the final match against Thailand, contributing greatly to bringing the championship to the Vietnamese women's futsal team.

The players quickly got on the bus to go back to their bases or homes, because soon some of the team members would receive new assignments.
Midfielder Tran Thi Thuy Trang will soon take a flight to Hanoi tomorrow (November 23), temporarily leaving the Vietnam women's futsal team, wearing the shirt of Ho Chi Minh City women's football club to participate in the 2024 National Women's Cup (grassroots football).
Members of the Vietnam futsal team come from the strongest women's futsal club in the country, Thai Son Nam. Standing in the left corner is assistant coach Tran Van Vu, a very famous figure in Vietnam futsal. As a player, Tran Van Vu won the Vietnam Futsal Golden Ball several times. He was once famous as the futsal player with the best technique in Vietnam.
