The SEA V.League (Southeast Asian Volleyball League - formerly known as the ASEAN Grand Prix) is a tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation with the participation of national teams from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. This year's tournament has some changes in the competition format. The tournament will be organized in 2 rounds for each event, each round consists of 2 rounds, the first leg and the second leg.

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has its first victory at the 2023 SEA V.League volleyball tournament.

After returning from France on July 31, our girls returned to training to continue participating in the first round of the 2023 Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball Tournament - SEA V.League 2023. With a force of 14 players who were players in the 2023 AVC Challenge Cup and the 2023 FIVB Challenge Cup, in the first round of the tournament, Thanh Thuy and her teammates won against the Philippines team (in fact, this is the team of the National University of the Philippines). Although it was just a team of students, it caused many difficulties for the girls of the Vietnamese team.

However, at crucial moments, it was not Thanh Thuy's smashes on the block but the delicate smashes and handling from player wearing number 11 opposite Kieu Trinh that helped our girls win 3-1 against the young players from the Philippines.

After the victory over the Philippines, our women's volleyball team will face the Indonesian women's volleyball team tomorrow (August 5, 7 p.m.). This will definitely be an extremely exciting match, worth watching.
