Innovate methods and mobilize social resources
Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Nguyen Sy Truong said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City has paid attention to innovating the way of organizing and implementing emulation movements and campaigns chaired by the Front, such as: "Creative solidarity", "All people build cultural life in residential areas", "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"...
In particular, with the determination to promote and improve the quality of the "Creative Solidarity" movement, since 2020, the City's Fatherland Front at all levels has completed the Appraisal Council to review and propose recognition of new initiatives and ideas; the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee received over 500 applications, organized the selection, commendation, and printing of propaganda publications for 119 new initiatives and ideas...
By enhancing innovation and improving the quality of propaganda activities on typical models, advanced examples, good people and good deeds in the community, there have been many effective models and good practices; many cadres have emerged who uphold the spirit of responsibility, are not afraid of hardship, and regularly help people in difficult circumstances.
Along with launching and organizing emulation movements, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels of the city have paid attention to directing and implementing well the work of regular, thematic, and ad hoc rewards, encouraging typical and advanced collectives and individuals; and paying attention to direct laborers.
Notably, it can be seen that the new feature in the emulation movement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the capital in 2024 is to promote the role of the grassroots Front, the core of which is the Residential Area Front Working Committee, to mobilize social resources, contributing to improving the quality of life and happiness of the people, building a civilized, modern and civilized capital. The emulation movement of the Fronts in all localities is directed towards the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, each locality strives to register at least one part of the work to welcome the Congress.
Thoroughly grasping this spirit, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho District Tran Quang Dao said that the emulation movements of the Front are all oriented towards the interests of the People. Therefore, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the district organizes seminars to improve the quality of activities, launch emulation movements of the Front at the ward level, focusing on the activities of the Front Working Committee, promoting the role of mastery, self-management, and self-responsibility.
In Long Bien district, according to the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, Vu Thi Thanh, this year, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district implemented 37 emulation models, with the content of the models focusing on two groups of fields: urban beautification and environment - social security. Accordingly, each Front Working Committee of the residential group will have 1 emulation model to build green, clean, beautiful and civilized roads and streets. In the field of social security, the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels will promote joining hands to share love and overcome difficulties.
Competition focuses on the grassroots
According to Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong, over the past years, emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front have had practical effects and have been actively responded to by all classes of people. From the achieved results, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city will continue to innovate the content and form of emulation movements in the direction of focusing on the grassroots; closely following political tasks, key, sudden, urgent tasks and socio-economic development tasks of the locality.
“To promote and encourage the emulation movement, it is necessary to have the attention and encouragement of local Party committees and authorities and the consensus of the people, directing the emulation movement towards improving the material and spiritual life of the people, maintaining political security and social order and safety,” Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized.
Notably, in order for the emulation and reward work to continue to be effective, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Nguyen Sy Truong, affirmed that the building of advanced models in the Fatherland Front at all levels of the City has been and will continue to be carried out from the grassroots, with good synchronization of all four stages: discovery - training - summary - multiplication of advanced models.
The Fatherland Front actively maintains special pages and columns on the Website and the City Front's "Democracy and Solidarity" Newsletter to promote emulation movements, collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, typical examples, good people and good deeds, creating a wide spread among all classes of people. At the same time, promote the exemplary vanguard role of cadres and party members, who are the core in emulation movements, propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, President Ho Chi Minh's ideology on patriotic emulation; the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards.
In particular, the Fatherland Front at all levels will focus on innovating the organization of patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the emulation movements "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", "Solidarity, creativity", "All people protect national security"... At the same time, proactively advise and propose to the Party and the government to direct, organize and conduct surveys and evaluate the effectiveness of emulation movements; pay attention to training and fostering professional expertise and improving the capacity and qualities of the staff, meeting the requirements of innovation in emulation and reward work.
