According to Nguyen Sy Truong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, the Committee has focused on innovating the methods of organizing and implementing emulation movements and campaigns led by the Front, such as: "Unity and Creativity," "All People Building a Culturally Rich Life in Residential Areas," "All People United in Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas," and "Vietnamese People Prioritizing the Use of Vietnamese Goods"...

In particular, with the determination to promote and improve the quality of the "Creative Solidarity" movement, since 2020, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city has restructured the Council for evaluating and recommending the recognition of new initiatives and ideas; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city received over 500 dossiers, organized the selection, commendation, and publication of promotional materials for 119 new initiatives and ideas…

Through enhanced innovation and improved quality of propaganda activities highlighting exemplary models, advanced role models, and good deeds in the community, many effective models and good practices have emerged; many officials have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility, are not afraid of hardship, and regularly help those in difficult circumstances.

Along with launching and organizing emulation movements, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the city have paid attention to directing and effectively implementing regular, thematic, and extraordinary commendation work, encouraging exemplary collectives and individuals; and paying attention to direct laborers.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Nguyen Lan Huong, presented financial assistance to the family of Ms. Tran Thi Ut (Xuyen Duong village, Xuan Duong commune, Thanh Oai district) for the construction of a "Great Solidarity" house.

Notably, a new feature in the emulation movement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in Hanoi in 2024 is the increased role of the grassroots Front, with the Front Work Committee in residential areas as the core, to mobilize social resources, contributing to improving the quality of life and happiness of the people, and building a cultured, civilized, and modern capital city. The emulation movement of the local Fronts is all directed towards the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, with each locality striving to register at least one task to celebrate the Congress.

In line with this spirit, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ho District, Tran Quang Dao, stated that the Front's emulation movements are all geared towards the interests of the people. Therefore, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district organizes conferences and seminars to improve the quality of its activities and launch emulation movements at the ward level, focusing on the activities of the Front's Working Committees and promoting the role of self-governance, self-management, and self-responsibility.

In Long Bien district, according to the Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, Vu Thi Thanh, this year, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district is implementing 37 emulation models, focusing on two main areas: urban beautification and environment - social welfare. Accordingly, each neighborhood Fatherland Front Committee will have one emulation model to build green, clean, beautiful, and civilized streets and roads. In the field of social welfare, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels will promote joint efforts to share love and overcome difficulties.

The emulation campaign should focus on the grassroots level.

According to Nguyen Lan Huong, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, for many years, the emulation movements launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front have had practical effects and have been actively supported by all strata of the people. Based on the results achieved, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the city will continue to innovate the content and forms of emulation movements, focusing on the grassroots level; closely adhering to political tasks, key and urgent tasks, and socio-economic development tasks of the locality.

In Hanoi, more and more models of "civilized residential areas" are emerging, in which the active role of grassroots Front Committee officials is evident.

"To promote and encourage the emulation movement, it is essential to have the attention, encouragement, and support of local Party committees and authorities, as well as the consensus of the people, directing the emulation movement towards improving the material and spiritual lives of the people, maintaining political stability, security, and social order," Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong emphasized.

Notably, to ensure the continued effectiveness of emulation and reward activities, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Sy Truong, affirmed that the building of exemplary models within the Fatherland Front at all levels in the city has been and will continue to be implemented from the grassroots level, synchronously and effectively across all four stages: identifying, nurturing, summarizing, and replicating exemplary models.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front actively maintains specialized pages and sections on its website and the "Democracy and Solidarity" newsletter to publicize emulation movements, outstanding achievements of collectives and individuals, exemplary models, and good deeds, creating widespread dissemination among all strata of the people. Simultaneously, it effectively promotes the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members, who are the core of emulation movements, in disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation, and the State's policies and laws on emulation and commendation.

In particular, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels will focus on innovating the organization of patriotic emulation movements, with a focus on the emulation movements "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas," "The whole country joins hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind," "Unity and creativity," and "All people protect national security"... At the same time, it will proactively advise and propose to the Party and government on directing, organizing, implementing, and conducting surveys and evaluations of the effectiveness of emulation movements; paying attention to training and improving the professional skills and qualities of the staff to meet the requirements of innovation in emulation and reward work.
