Unique 40cm tall coconut tree, flowers after 6 months, waiting to bear fruit

On February 9, according to Mr. Nguyen Quang Dinh (living in Ward 1, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province) - the owner of the unique coconut tree, this tree was bought from a resident in Ca Mau Province.

The unique coconut tree is displayed at the flower market in Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province for people to admire.

Mr. Dinh said that this coconut tree sprouted about 6 months ago. The first three months the tree grew normally, but recently it suddenly flowered and bore fruit.

"I happened to see this strange coconut tree. Because it is only 40cm tall, I bought it and put it in a pot to display at the flower market for everyone to see," Mr. Dinh shared.

According to Mr. Dinh, this coconut tree may be a mutant variety, so it is different from other common coconut varieties. It is also more difficult to care for than other coconut trees because it grows very slowly and needs a lot of nutrients to grow fruit.

"I have only played bonsai mai before, not bonsai coconut. Now I want to keep it to see how it develops. I have not thought about whether to sell this coconut tree or not," said Mr. Dinh.

Normally, it takes at least three years of care to grow a standard bonsai coconut tree.

Witnessing the strange coconut tree with their own eyes, many people were surprised that they had seen many strange trees before, such as coconut trees with many shoots, but they had never seen a young coconut tree that bore fruit like this before, it was very strange.

Previously, also in Ca Mau city, Mr. Le Phuoc Thai (Tan Xuyen ward, Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province) owned a 12-shoot coconut tree nearly 4m high that was flowering and bearing fruit.
