Mr. Le Xuan Hai spent a long time working abroad. During his years away from home, Mr. Hai also worked on grape farms. This was also the time that helped him accumulate experience, techniques and capital to realize his dream of getting rich right in his homeland.

Returning home, he decided to invest all his accumulated capital to improve the difficult land in Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province to grow black grapes.

In November 2022, he started building a greenhouse. The land was too barren, so he had to "add" thousands of cubic meters of soil and add organic fertilizer to make the soil loose, ensuring enough conditions for the black grape to grow and develop. He also imported black grape varieties from abroad to ensure safety.

Mr. Hai shared that the most important thing in growing black grapes is the soil. Nghe An has a very harsh climate. Summer is scorching hot, winter is bone-chilling cold. Therefore, the net house system helps black grapes not be affected by weather conditions.

In addition, other factors such as erratic heavy rains and frost also greatly affect the growth and development of black grape vines. Although black grape vines can withstand drought well, Mr. Hai also invested in a modern irrigation system to ensure water supply for the vines.

The day the first black grapevines were planted was also the most exciting time for Mr. Hai and his family members. Only when the black grapevines took root and grew steadily did everyone breathe a sigh of relief.

However, although the grapevine has developed and branched evenly, that is only the beginning. Depending on each stage of the black grapevine's growth and weather conditions, Mr. Hai periodically fertilizes to provide nutrients for the plant. Mr. Hai often uses organic fertilizer to ensure the soil is loose.

Mr. Hai shared: "For the grapevines to grow well, the first thing you have to do is regularly monitor the humidity of the garden through each growth cycle of the grapevines. For example, during the flowering stage of the black grapevines, the humidity must be between 70 and 80%. During the preparation stage for harvest, the humidity only needs to be 20 to 30%."
