On December 6th, the People's Committee of Da Lat City ( Lam Dong province) held the opening ceremony of the "Da Lat Vegetable and Flower Market: A miraculous crystallization from fertile land" in 2024.

The vegetable and flower market is one of the 10 main programs of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival - 2024, with the participation of 70 organizations and individuals and 120 stalls selling vegetables, flowers, and agricultural tourism .

These are characteristic OCOP products, the strengths of Da Lat City, Bao Loc City, and the districts in Lam Dong province. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Son – Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Lat City, emphasized that this is an opportunity for people and tourists to enjoy elaborately prepared dishes made from high-quality local vegetables.

Key agricultural products from Lam Dong province, such as strawberries, tomatoes, and pumpkins, are displayed in abundance at the vegetable and flower market.

Dried persimmons are one of Da Lat's specialties loved throughout the country. At the market, tourists and locals can enjoy the art of flower arranging and have the opportunity to participate in flower arranging with completely free materials and accessories; enjoy special music and dance performances and local specialties made from ingredients unique to Da Lat city.

This vegetable has a rather unusual name: "desert rose." It can be eaten raw or used in various stir-fried and cooked dishes.

Many types of flowers characteristic of Da Lat - Lam Dong were also displayed. During the Flower Festival, Da Lat City organized many festival programs to honor and promote the history, culture, and people, as well as introduce the industries, characteristic products, and strengths of Da Lat.

In addition to agricultural products, the market also features many food stalls for attendees.
