Born and raised in the land of Trang Liet (Binh Giang) which has long been famous for its bustling and prosperous life and its mechanical profession, veteran businessman Pham Van Nhan always has the acumen of a Sat resident, along with the talent of a Trang Liet mechanic.
Born in 1964, after leaving the army in the late 80s, veteran Pham Van Nhan had a chance to do business. After more than 30 years of working in many fields such as real estate, construction... but Viet Trung International Development Joint Stock Company with the mechanical profession has always been the backbone in the production and business activities of businessman Pham Van Nhan and his family. The enterprise was established in late 2001.
As Chairman of the Board of Directors, businessman Pham Van Nhan is always concerned with finding a way for the company to develop sustainably and increase its ability to adapt to changes in the times. Initially, components, agricultural machinery products, pumps, generators, etc. were the company's main products. These products were not only consumed domestically but also exported to countries in the ASEAN region, Taiwan (China), Canada, etc. In the years 2015-2020, Viet Trung International Development Joint Stock Company expanded the production and assembly of trucks.
When the market showed signs of slowing down, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic, the company changed its investment direction. The company installed an additional mini tractor production line with a total cost of 2.5 billion VND, a capacity of 100 machines/day, 2.5 times higher than conventional assembly; a 4-wheel off-road motorcycle production line with a capacity of 6 minutes/unit with an investment capital of 3.5 billion VND, faster than manual assembly (2-3 hours/unit). Fortunately, the company has received orders to export off-road motorcycles to the US market.
In 2023, Viet Trung International Development Joint Stock Company will achieve total revenue of over 300 billion VND, creating jobs for more than 300 employees, with an average salary of over 10 million VND/person/month.
Not only taking care of the development of the family business, as Vice President of the Association of Veteran Entrepreneurs of Hai Duong province, and also Head of Emulation Cluster No. 2 including the Associations of Veteran Entrepreneurs of 4 districts of Binh Giang, Cam Giang, Thanh Mien and Ninh Giang, he has directed the establishment of connecting groups between members with the same fields of production, business and expertise. These are the farm development group; the mechanical and machinery service group; the handicraft group... to increase opportunities to learn and help each other in production experience and connect to consumer markets.
As a Catholic, Mr. Nhan incorporates the doctrine into his “business philosophy”, leading and managing the business based on altruism and sharing. He is close to his employees to understand and provide timely support to help them overcome difficulties in life through social welfare activities. In production and business, Mr. Nhan and the business always uphold the word “trust” with customers and uphold responsibility to the social community.
Speaking about the contributions of parishioner Pham Van Nhan to the community, a representative of St. Anthony Parish in Ke Sat Diocese commented: “Mr. Nhan is a successful businessman, always living with his Catholic conscience in production and business. Every year, he and his family contribute billions of VND to help people in difficult circumstances through charitable activities of the Church and the community.”
With achievements in production and business, businessman Pham Van Nhan has continuously achieved the title of excellent production and business veteran at the provincial level; in 2022-2023, he achieved the title of excellent production and business veteran nationwide. The Provincial Association of Veteran Entrepreneurs is proposing the Prime Minister to award a Certificate of Merit for Mr. Nhan's personal achievements in the 5 years 2018-2023.
