Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Pham Viet Anh visited the World Hydrogen 2023: Summit & Exhibition and visited the booth of The Green Solutions Group (TGS).
This is an exhibition for the hydrogen industry organized by the Sustainable Energy Council (SEC) in collaboration with the provincial government of South Holland, the city of Rotterdam and the port of Rotterdam from May 9-11.
The World Hydrogen Exhibition & Summit is a place where government leaders, international organizations, experts from research institutes, universities, corporations and private enterprises from all over the world meet, exchange, cooperate and do business to develop the still young hydrogen industry. This year, more than 350 enterprises participated in the booth, double that of 2022.
The exhibition attracted the participation of about 11,500 guests who are energy policy makers and leaders of large enterprises (such as Air Production, Shell, Air Liquide, S&P Global, Argus, Thyssenkrup) from more than 100 countries and territories.
Also attending the event were senior officials, such as the Executive Vice President of the European Council (EC), the EC Commissioner for Energy, and the Energy Ministers of the Netherlands, UK, Australia, USA, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, etc.
This is the second consecutive time that TGS Group, also the only Vietnamese enterprise, is proud to participate in the International Hydrogen Exhibition in the Netherlands.
After participating in the 2022 exhibition, TSG has increasingly strengthened its determination to produce clean energy in Vietnam and recently started construction of Vietnam's first green hydrogen production plant in Tra Vinh province in March 2023 with a designed capacity of 24,000 tons of hydrogen/year and 195,000 tons of oxygen/year. The plant is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2024.
Attending this exhibition, Ms. Quyen Huynh, General Director of TGS Group, successfully connected with many foreign partners. This made the team that has been with the company for a long time more confident in the future of the project.
Sharing about the difficult life, the scarcity of fresh water and energy of the people and soldiers on Truong Sa archipelago, something seemed to flash in Ms. Quyen Huynh's eyes from deep within. She pledged to the Ambassador to think and find a way to bring the application of hydrogen production by electrolyzing seawater into fresh water to Truong Sa.
TGS Group's participation at The World Hydrogen Exhibition & Summit 2023 promises many pioneering and practical achievements contributing to Vietnam's green transformation and sustainable development.
