Enterprises gradually overcome difficulties, promote production and business

With the continuously improved investment and business environment, production and business activities of enterprises in the province have improved in the first months of the year, and many enterprises and units are recruiting more workers, expanding production lines and increasing production scale, speeding up the completion of orders for partners. This is an important contribution to the province's economy achieving double-digit growth in 2025.

Many positive signals

In February 2025, Honda Vietnam Company (HVN) recorded positive signs in its production and business activities when it added 5 new motorcycle models to the Vietnamese market, including CL500, CB1000 Hornet, new version of Rebel 500, Africa Twin Adventure Sport, Transalp; sales of motorcycles and cars sold in the market both recorded impressive growth compared to the same period last year. Specifically, sales of motorcycles reached 194,888 vehicles, up 61.7% and cars reached 1,808 vehicles, up 43% compared to the same period in 2024.

In addition to domestic vehicle consumption, Honda Vietnam's motorbike export activities were also recorded with 20,794 exported vehicles in February. Accumulated from the beginning of the 2024 - 2025 fiscal year (from April 2024), HVN has sold a total of 25,782 vehicles to the market, an increase of 13.5% over the same period. This is not only a positive signal for HVN but also reflects the improvement of the domestic automobile and motorbike market in general.

Continuing the growth momentum, with the goal of contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment, at the end of March, HVN held a ceremony to launch the first electric motorbike model called ICON e: and is expected to supply it to the market in April.

Along with HVN, in the first quarter of 2025, Piaggio Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Polaris Vietnam Co., Ltd. launched a number of new product lines and upgraded versions with many changes in design and performance; businesses and dealers continued to apply promotional programs and discount prices for many vehicle models to stimulate market demand, increase purchasing power, and increase the province's motorbike production output by more than 6.5% compared to the same period in 2024.

In addition, many electronic component manufacturing enterprises have expanded their investment, installed more production lines, completed factories and recruited more workers to meet orders from partners; consumer demand from traditional markets such as the US, EU, and Japan has increased again, enterprises in the garment industry have signed more orders, boosted production, and increased output. Thereby, the production index of the entire industrial sector of the province in the first quarter increased by more than 12% compared to the same period in 2024.

The recovery of industrial production has led to strong growth in retail sales of goods and service business activities in the province compared to the same period in 2024. As a result, the total state budget revenue in the first quarter of 2025 of the province reached VND 9,700 billion, equal to 35.9% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council, an increase of 2.4% over the same period in 2024.

Along with that, in the first quarter, 371 newly registered enterprises, an increase of 12%; 196 enterprises returned to production and business activities, an increase of 18% over the same period in 2024.

Accompanying and working side by side with businesses

The budget revenue results in the first quarter of 2025 increased compared to the same period in the context of many tax policies supporting businesses being implemented, reflecting the results of removing difficulties and obstacles for businesses and the determination to overcome difficulties and promote production and business activities of the business community in the province.

Along with the economic recovery and the Government's efforts to prioritize macroeconomic stability, control inflation, and adhere to the motto "All investors coming to Vinh Phuc are citizens of Vinh Phuc", in recent times, all levels, sectors, agencies and units in the province have actively implemented many measures to improve the business environment.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned specific tasks to each sector, field, and locality responsible for improving each component index of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI); established a Working Group to assist the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; maintained a hotline, promptly grasped and resolved difficulties and obstacles, and created the most favorable conditions for investors and businesses.

Proactively implementing solutions to support businesses and people in accessing loans, the State Bank of Vietnam Region 4 has directed credit institutions in the province to closely follow the direction of the State Bank of Vietnam and the development orientation of the province to implement credit growth solutions, focusing on lending to production, business and priority sectors.

By the end of March 2025, the accumulated outstanding loans to businesses in the province reached over 57 trillion VND. Thereby contributing to solving difficulties, helping businesses boldly invest in modern machinery, expand scale, create jobs, and stable income for thousands of workers.

To maintain growth momentum and provide the best support for businesses, the province continues to direct all levels and sectors to promote reforms, cut unnecessary administrative procedures; proactively grasp and implement appropriate and flexible solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for businesses and investors; support businesses in recruiting workers; speed up the progress of investment in building infrastructure for industrial parks, and clear land for industrial parks to create clean land ready to attract investment.

Thereby creating a driving force to promote production and business activities of enterprises, contributing significantly to the province achieving double-digit economic growth in 2025.
