Van Loi Garment Export Company Limited, Thang Long Commune, is a company specializing in processing women's pants, shirts, men's and women's jackets, women's vests, T-shirts, etc. For many months now, the company's garment production activities have been very busy, with workers having to work overtime to meet export orders for partners. Mr. Du Xiong Yu, Deputy Director of the company, said: 95% of the company's products are exported to the Japanese market, the rest are exported to the US, South Korea and Taiwan. Since the beginning of 2024, the company has exported nearly 1 million products. Compared to the same period, the amount of exported goods has increased by about 30%. Up to now, the company has signed many orders, ensuring jobs for workers until the end of 2025.
With many and long-term signed orders, Mr. Du Xiong Yu said that, in addition to always ensuring the reputation of product quality, design and on-time delivery as per the contract signed with partners, the garment export market has recently been "warming up again". Ensuring on-time delivery to partners and ensuring the quality as per the signed contract, for many months, the company has implemented overtime but not exceeding the prescribed number of hours. At the same time, launching a movement to compete in technical innovation, increasing labor productivity and receiving the consensus and response of a large number of officers and employees in the company. Currently, the company is creating jobs for 700 employees, with an average income of 8.5 million VND/person/month.
At this time, 700 workers at the garment factory of DREAM F Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. (Minh Khoi commune) are also working urgently to meet export orders for partners. The items that this enterprise specializes in sewing are sports pants and golf pants exported to the Korean market. Mr. Chun Ki Kyung, general director of the company, said: Operating in the field of exporting sports pants in Nong Cong district for 8 years now, the company has built a reputation with customers. Thanks to that, orders from partners are always stable and not interrupted. The company's goal in 2024 is to export 800,000 products, by the end of September, the company has completed 90% of the plan. Compared to the same period in 2023, the export volume exceeded 20%. Currently, the company has signed many orders, ensuring jobs for 700 workers until the end of April 2025, with an average income of 7 million VND/person/month.
It is known that Nong Cong district currently has 20 garment enterprises (of which 8 enterprises participate in import and export). In order to support textile and garment enterprises, in addition to creating favorable conditions for enterprises to invest in the area, Nong Cong district also strictly implements the directives of the Central Government and the province on supporting enterprises such as Decree 80/2021/ND-CP, dated August 26, 2021 of the Government on detailing and guiding a number of articles of the Law on Enterprises; Resolution 214/2022/NQ-HDND, dated April 13, 2022 of the Provincial People's Council on promulgating support for enterprises in the province for the period 2022-2026... Besides, enterprises have promptly seized the opportunity to access the market when the markets are on the path of recovery and improvement. In addition to maintaining traditional markets such as the US and Europe, many businesses have expanded their search for export markets to Russia, South Korea and some Asian countries. Some garment businesses have begun restructuring and investing in technology, green transformation to meet buyers' requirements, improve competitiveness; converting processing methods to other methods so that orders are still guaranteed.
At this time, many enterprises in the district have signed orders until the second quarter of 2025, and some enterprises have even signed orders until the end of 2025. This signing not only contributes to bringing the total export value of goods in the first 9 months of 2024 of garment export enterprises in the district to 185 million USD, equal to 92.5% of the yearly plan, an increase of 52.9% over the same period; but also helps textile and garment enterprises complete the growth target in 2024 as planned.
