An FDI enterprise in Hanoi gave a bonus of 311 million VND to its employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. This is the highest bonus for employees in the foreign-invested enterprise sector in Hanoi during this Tet holiday.

Recently, the Hanoi Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that through reports from 4,420 enterprises with 318,740 employees, the average bonus for employees during the New Year and Lunar New Year 2025 is expected to increase compared to the previous year.
FDI enterprises give highest Tet bonus of 311 million VND/person
Accordingly, for FDI enterprises, the average bonus for the New Year is 1 million VND/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is 90 million VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
Notably, for Lunar New Year, the average bonus is 4.5 million VND/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is 311 million VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
The highest bonus for the 2024 Lunar New Year is 205 million VND, the lowest is 500,000 VND. Thus, this bonus is 106 million VND higher than last year's Lunar New Year bonus.
Private enterprises give Tet bonus up to 280 million VND/person
For LLCs with 100% state capital, the average New Year bonus is 750,000 VND/person. The highest bonus for enterprises is 10 million VND/person, the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
For the Lunar New Year 2025, the average bonus is 3.3 million VND/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is 38 million VND/person, the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
For joint stock companies with state-owned capital, the average New Year bonus is VND650,000/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is VND15 million/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is VND500,000/person.
For the Lunar New Year 2025, the average bonus is 3.5 million VND/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is 30 million VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
For private enterprises, the average bonus during the New Year is 700,000 VND/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is 30 million VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
For Lunar New Year 2025, the average bonus is 3.6 million VND/person. The enterprise with the highest bonus is 280 million VND/person; the enterprise with the lowest bonus is 500,000 VND/person.
