The 2023 Northern Delta International Agricultural Fair, opening on December 1, will be an opportunity to introduce and promote the province's typical products. Towards this important event, localities, businesses, and OCOP entities in the province have prepared goods sources, providing visitors and consumers with the highest quality products.

As an annual event, this year the fair is held in conjunction with the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Exchange - Business Connection Program "ThaiBinh Homecoming Day". The fair is organized with a scale of over 300 booths with the participation of nearly 200 businesses in the region, domestically and internationally. With the goal of introducing and promoting the province's typical products to domestic and international friends, especially to Korea, the fair displays and introduces OCOP products, typical products of the province with a scale of 32 standard booths.
Dong Hung district participated in the fair with OCOP products: Minh Tan lucky bamboo, Thien Duc fish cake, Thien Duc peanut and sesame candy, Thien Duc stuffed candy, Thien Duc sesame candy, Thien Duc green tea cake, Dong Xa pumpkin. In recent days, the lucky bamboo production facility of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue's family, Dinh Phung village, Minh Tan commune has increased production capacity to meet the demand for Tet while preparing to bring products with the best designs and quality to the fair.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue said: It is an honor that my family's products were chosen to represent the OCOP brand "Minh Tan Lucky Bamboo" to participate in the fair. Therefore, we carefully prepared the products to bring to the fair, hoping to have more customers inside and outside the province know about them.
Mr. Pham Hung Vuong, Deputy Head of the Economic - Infrastructure Department of Dong Hung district, said: When the provincial People's Committee had a plan to organize the fair, we reviewed and selected typical OCOP products of the district, contacted each facility to invite them to participate in the program. In order for the facilities to grasp the regulations when participating in the fair, we thoroughly disseminated information related to the fair and urged the facilities to prepare carefully. At the same time, the locality also connected with the advertising unit to prepare the booth decoration to ensure the time of organizing the event.

In addition to the rosemary essential oil product recognized as an OCOP product, Hoang Minh Agricultural Service Production and Trading Cooperative, Quynh Hong Commune (Quynh Phu) brought to the fair a number of products directly produced by the cooperative such as cajeput essential oil, cinnamon essential oil, jasmine essential oil, and herbal shampoo.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Director of the Cooperative, said: The fair is the channel to expand the market, introduce products to new customers in the fastest and most effective way. Through the fairs connecting supply and demand, our customer base has also increased by 10 - 15%. In particular, this year, the fair is organized in conjunction with the Cultural Exchange Program - connecting Vietnamese - Korean businesses "ThaiBinh Homecoming Day", so we have carefully prepared the products to bring to the fair, hoping to have more domestic and foreign customers know about the Cooperative.

In order to have products with diverse designs, good quality and safety, Tien Hai district has promoted the organization and deployment to communes, towns, enterprises and cooperatives in the district to register to participate in typical products, OCOP products of units and localities with the desire to bring to the fair the best quality products to serve tourists, meeting the requirements of distributors, enterprises and consumers.
Mr. Bui Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, said: Tien Hai is one of the localities with strengths in attracting investment in industrial zones and clusters, so industrial products are abundant, with investment in quality and design to serve the needs of domestic customers as well as export. Tien Hai is also a locality rich in OCOP products. The OCOP products displayed, introduced and traded at the fair all ensure quality, food safety, and designs according to standards.

With the large-scale, methodical and quality organization, by the afternoon of November 30, the preparation work for the fair was basically completed. Enterprises and OCOP entities of the province were ready to introduce and promote local specialties and typical products to a large number of consumers.
