Enterprises in the Northern midland and mountainous provinces cooperate

HHDN of Hoa Binh - Son La - Dien Bien - Lai Chau - Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho provinces signed a cooperation agreement in 2024.

After the conference and signing of the cooperation agreement between the Association of Business Associations of the Northwestern provinces in Hoa Binh province in May 2023, the Association of Business Associations of Hoa Binh - Son La - Dien Bien - Lai Chau provinces have proactively implemented the cooperation contents. The cooperation program is based on the principle of "Equality and mutual benefit" with the motto "Solidarity - Innovation - Cooperation - Development". In particular, the following activities stand out: Exchange of solutions, experiences, good and effective practices in implementing business support activities; strengthening coordination between associations in cooperation, association, support for expansion and development of supply chains of products, goods, services, etc. The Association of Business Associations of Hoa Binh - Son La - Dien Bien - Lai Chau provinces have focused on building and developing the association organization system from the province to the grassroots level. Some associations have established affiliated units, actively supporting the production and business activities of enterprises, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members, creating funding sources to support the association's activities; and organizing many social activities to serve the community.

The conference discussed and shared solutions, experiences and good practices of each locality towards the goal of enhancing the role of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in the provinces; difficulties and obstacles in mechanisms and policies to support enterprises; investment promotion in the fields of construction, agriculture, tourism; consulting and coordination between the Association and local authorities...

Representative of Dien Bien Provincial Women's Union presented the rotating flag to Lai Chau Provincial Women's Union - the host of the conference in 2025.

Dien Bien province has set a goal of becoming a province with fairly developed economic conditions in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2030. It focuses on developing agriculture and forestry applying modern science and technology, with high productivity and quality combined with processing industry; tourism becomes a spearhead economic sector; digital economy plays an important role in the development of the province. To achieve the goal, in the coming time, Dien Bien province will improve the business environment, enhance national competitiveness, effectively implement Resolution No. 03-NQ/TU dated May 7, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on tourism development in Dien Bien province to 2025, with a vision to 2030 based on 3 main pillars for tourism development. The province will research and promulgate mechanisms and policies in various fields to attract more resources for development; continue to carry out dialogue with investors; timely support, remove difficulties and obstacles in investment, production and business activities for the business community and investors; create the most favorable conditions for domestic and foreign investors to come to learn about and cooperate in investing in Dien Bien province. HHDN continues to promote its role as a bridge between the business community and the government, forming regional linkages, supporting product output, developing tourism, services and trade.

At this conference, the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises of Phu Tho province and the Association of Enterprises of Tuyen Quang province were admitted as new members. With the theme: "Strengthening links - Improving capacity - Taking advantage of opportunities - Creating breakthroughs", the Associations of Enterprises of Hoa Binh - Son La - Dien Bien - Lai Chau - Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho provinces signed a cooperation agreement in 2024.

The 2025 conference will be hosted by Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee.
