♠ Pre-match comments

Although athletics and swimming, the gold mines of Vietnamese sports, have finished their competition schedule at the 32nd SEA Games, our sports delegation can still seek gold hopes from martial arts such as Taekwondo, Kick Boxing and especially diving. Today, 8 diving events will start, promising to bring many medals to the Vietnamese delegation.

In tennis, Vietnam's No. 1 player Ly Hoang Nam (ranked 264 ATP) will face Rifki Fitriadi (Indonesia, ranked 727 ATP) in the final. In yesterday's semi-final, Ly Hoang Nam narrowly won 6/4, 7/6 against the home player from Cambodia Kenny Bun. The Tay Ninh player's opponent in the final was the person who lost to him in the previous team singles match. Therefore, Ly Hoang Nam is confident that he will win to hold the No. 1 men's singles position in SEA Games tennis for the third consecutive time. Hoang Nam's biggest concern is his physical condition and the hot weather.

In women's volleyball, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will face their rival Thailand in the final with the hope of creating a surprise. In yesterday's semi-final, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates had to work very hard to win against Indonesia with a score of 3-2.
