Youth Union of Trung Son Hydropower Company Limited launched inspection and maintenance of EPP emergency warning station

Recently, the Youth Union of Trung Son Hydropower Company Limited (TSHPCo) organized a ceremony to inspect and maintain the EPP emergency warning station to prepare for the 2023 flood season.

The EPP emergency warning station system built and operated by TSHPCo includes 15 flood warning stations with sirens (from the downstream of the dam to Cam Thuy district, an average of 10km/station, warning range of 5km); 1,724 flood warning markers, markers identifying safe areas for people to move to; 290 signs indicating evacuation directions. In particular, the flood warning stations with sirens will have the function of emergency warning when releasing floodwaters and warning people downstream of Trung Son Hydropower Plant to know and proactively avoid before the flood arrives.

During the EPP emergency warning station inspection and maintenance program, TSHPCo youth union members disassembled, inspected equipment parameters, recorded and maintained equipment to ensure that the warning stations are always ready in the best flood warning operating state.
