Vietnam Navy Band performs at the Russian Navy Parade

The parade celebrating the Russian Navy Day is one of the major traditional holidays of Russia.

On this day, Russian people from all over return to Saint Petersburg to attend this important event and watch the activities of the Naval Parade as well as the sideline activities of the Parade.

The Vietnam Navy Band gave an excellent performance at the grand opening of the parade presided over by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Chinese Navy and the Indian Navy also sent bands to attend.

Vietnam Navy Band parades in Saint Petersburg

During the visit to Russia, the delegation actively participated in sideline activities of the Parade and public performances at Mikhailov Park and the Gala Concert at the Winter Palace Square. The performance of the Vietnam Navy Band was highly appreciated by the Russian people in Saint Petersburg who came to watch and chanted “Vietnam Ho Chi Minh ”.

This is the sentiment of the Vietnam People's Army and Navy towards the Russian people in general and towards the Russian Navy in Saint Petersburg in particular.

The participation of the Vietnam Navy Band in the Russian Navy Parade this time has important political significance, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between the people, armies and navies of the two countries for the benefit of each country, for peace and stability in the region and the world.

The affection of the Vietnamese Army and Navy for the Army and Navy of the Russian Federation has been recognized and highly appreciated by the leaders of the Russian Ministry of Defense and Navy.
