Dong Giang Co Tu ethnic group's art troupe participates in the 2024 Ethnic Cultural Folk Performance Competition

More than 30 artisans and extras from the Co Tu ethnic group in Dong Giang district will represent Quang Nam province in this competition.

The delegation will participate in the following performances: Traditional costumes; traditional ceremonies; folk song, folk dance and national costume performances; folk culinary arts... Thereby, promoting and honoring cultural values, arousing aspirations and pride in the cultural identity of ethnic minorities in Quang Nam province.

It is known that the 2024 Folk Cultural Performance Contest of Ethnic Groups has the participation of 26 provinces and cities nationwide.

The contest aims to introduce and promote the values ​​of intangible cultural heritage, customs, traditional festivals, folk songs, folk dances, costumes, and cuisine of ethnic groups across the country; affirm the belief of ethnic people in the leadership of the Party and State, arouse the aspiration to develop the country, and promote the will and strength of great national unity.
