On December 26, a group of Lao students studying at Phu Tho Medical College visited and experienced the reality at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Delighted to welcome the Lao students, the leader of the Department of Foreign Affairs shared: The special traditional friendship between Vietnam - Laos, Laos - Vietnam was founded by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Suphanouvong, and has been diligently cultivated by successive generations of leaders of the two Parties, two States and peoples of the two countries, overcoming countless difficulties and challenges, becoming an exemplary and loyal relationship between the two peoples in the struggle for independence, freedom and in the cause of innovation, construction and development of the country today.
With that tradition, Phu Tho province, the homeland of the Vietnamese people, has been maintaining and developing friendly cooperation relations with the northern provinces of Laos in various fields, in which education and training have been promoted and implemented effectively by both sides. Expressing the honor of welcoming the delegation of Lao students studying at Phu Tho Medical College to visit and experience the reality, the leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs hoped that the students in the delegation would strive to study and complete their study program at the school, constantly improve their professional qualifications and Vietnamese language skills, and then return to build their homeland to become more and more prosperous. At the same time, they believed that the students would be the bridge to continue to nurture the friendship between Laos and Vietnam in the coming time, becoming increasingly close and profound.
Representatives of Phu Tho Medical College on behalf of the overseas students thanked the enthusiastic reception of the leaders of Phu Tho Department of Foreign Affairs for the delegation. In the coming time, the Lao students in the delegation will try to study hard, actively participate in exchange activities, and introduce traditional cultures between the two countries. Thereby, further tightening the good traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos among all classes of people, especially the young generation.
