
The delegation offering incense was led by Comrade Hoang Duy Chinh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Attending were Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Department of Home Affairs.
The monument is a place to commemorate 60 martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force Company 915 who heroically sacrificed themselves on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1972, while on a mission to clear military goods and support the battlefield in the South, including 41 people from Bac Kan. They passed away at the age of eighteen or twenty, with so many dreams and aspirations still unfulfilled. The heroic sacrifice of the Youth Volunteer Force will forever go down in history in the cause of national liberation.
Before the heroic martyrs of the Youth Volunteer Force, the provincial leadership respectfully offered incense and rang the bell to express their remembrance and infinite gratitude to the indomitable Youth Volunteer Force soldiers who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood and their youth for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
Before the souls of the Youth Volunteers, the Bac Kan Provincial Leadership Delegation pledged to continue to strive, unite, build and protect the strong and everlasting Fatherland of Vietnam. May the heroic martyrs appear to bless the nation with peace and prosperity, and the people with prosperity and happiness.
After the incense offering ceremony, the provincial delegation visited the relic's exhibition area and listened to the tour guide review touching stories about the lives and heroic fighting spirit of the heroic Youth Volunteers of Company 915./.
