After 1 year of carrying out tasks in the border area of ​​Hue city, the Youth Union of Economic-Defense Group 92 has left a good impression in the hearts of people in the border area.

The Youth Union team, together with the unit's officers and employees, actively participates in national defense economic projects, emulation movements "The Army joins hands to build new rural areas", "The Army joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind"; "The whole people unite to build a cultural life". With their youth and creativity, the Youth Union force has promoted its role well, eating, living and working with the people, participating in socio-economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction. Actively propagating and mobilizing people to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, State laws, and local regulations; providing guidance on livestock and crop farming techniques, changing the people's way of thinking and working.

Economic - Military Delegation 92 visits people for health check-up

The Youth Union's Information and Communication Team, together with the officers and employees of the Youth Union, participated in providing technical guidance on implementing economic development models such as: Planting basil, lemongrass, ginseng, peanuts, beans, purple potatoes, growing shallots, raising rabbits... Guiding and urging people to implement the cow breeding model, buffalo breeding model and wet rice growing model under the project of Supporting socio-economic development - Model of soldiers associated with ethnic minority and mountainous areas of A So Economic-Defense Zone, A Luoi. The above models all apply new scientific advances, develop well, are easy to disseminate and replicate to people in the project area and are suitable for local climate and soil conditions. Coordinated with the A Luoi District Youth Union, local Party committees and authorities to open 2 swimming classes to prevent drowning for 120 students in the area; participated well in "Youth Month", "March Border Month", built the project "Electricity to light up the village"; “Border light”, “Model military-civilian route”; “National flag route”….

The Youth Union members of the 92nd Economic-Defense Force have actively worked with the medical team of the Military-Civilian Medical Clinic of the Force to regularly coordinate with the A Luoi District Health Center and the health stations of 4 communes in the project area to organize propaganda to guide people in implementing family planning, village and hamlet hygiene to prevent epidemics, encourage people to eat hygienically; propagate about epidemics and preventive measures for people in the area. The Youth Union of the unit has coordinated to organize free medical examinations and medicine distribution for thousands of people.

On this occasion, the Management Board of Project 174, Economic-Defense Group 92 announced the decision and awarded certificates of merit to 5 TTTTN team members with outstanding achievements in performing their tasks.
