The monitoring delegation of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation worked with the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad.

On the afternoon of August 13, the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial National Assembly led by Comrade Dang Thi My Huong, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, had a working session with the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad in the new situation in Ninh Thuan province, from 2021 to June 2024. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and worked with the Delegation.

According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, in implementing the work of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad in the new situation in the province, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee regularly pay attention to and direct; promptly issue support policies, creating all conditions for workers to participate in working abroad. In the period from 2021 to June 2024, the whole province has sent 479 people to work abroad, reaching 79.83% of the assigned plan; there are 20 enterprises with full legal documents and capacity according to regulations operating to recruit workers to work under contracts in the locality. The Ninh Thuan Provincial Social Policy Bank branch has arranged loans for 27 workers to work abroad under contracts, with an amount of over 2.2 billion VND. The Provincial Employment Service Center organized 291 job fairs and job consultations for 26,812 people, including 8,007 people consulting on sending workers to work abroad under contracts; distributed about 70,000 leaflets to workers participating in training conferences, consultations, and job exchanges at home and abroad. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs organized job consultations for 1,767 young soldiers and policemen preparing to be discharged from the army....

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to do a good job of advising on the topic of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad; coordinate with departments, branches and localities to focus on promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to raise awareness and change their mindset to participate in working abroad; research solutions to send seasonal workers abroad; focus on supporting preferential loans for those who go to work abroad...
