According to the report of Cai Be District People's Committee, since the implementation of Resolution 26/2021/NQ-HDND of Tien Giang Provincial People's Council, it has contributed to improving important goals and indicators on population work in the district in the new situation. Accordingly, in 3 years (from 2022 to 2024), the district has provided funding for 330 population, family and children collaborators with an amount of more than 4.9 billion VND. Thereby, it has encouraged the collaborators to work better. For women who give birth to 2 children before the age of 35, the district has supported more than 1.3 billion VND, contributing to encouraging the spirit and raising awareness of the importance of maintaining a reasonable birth rate to ensure sustainable development of society.

In addition, in recent years, medical centers, commune and town health stations in Cai Be district have coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to disseminate the contents and policies of Resolution 26/2021/NQ-HDND so that people can easily access the resolution.

At the meeting, representatives of Cai Be District People's Committee and People's Committees of communes and towns had many opinions and recommendations for the Supervisory Delegation in implementing Resolution 26/2021/NQ-HDND such as: Propaganda and mobilization activities on population policy are still difficult because some households of childbearing age go to work far away; propose that the reward level for women of childbearing age before 35 years old increase from 2 to 3 million VND/person. It is necessary to supplement policies to support women in prenatal screening, periodic pregnancy check-ups and post-birth check-ups; adjust the health check-up and care targets for the elderly to have a way to calculate the targets in accordance with current reality...

In her concluding remarks at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyet Van highly appreciated the results of Cai Be district in implementing Resolution 26/2021/NQ-HDND in the past time. At the same time, she acknowledged the opinions and recommendations of Cai Be district to continue researching and proposing more effective implementation directions for Resolution 26/2021/NQ-HDND in the coming time.
