Supervisory delegation 1521 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee works with the Party Committee of the Department of Information and Communications

On September 22, Supervisory Delegation 1521 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (Head of Supervisory Delegation No. 1) had a working session with the Party Committee of the Department of Information and Communications (MIC) on the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU on digital transformation (DT) for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. The delegation included Comrade Tran Minh Nam, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

In recent times, the Party Committee of the Department of Information and Communications has proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents directing the implementation of information technology (IT) and digital transformation applications in the locality, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks set out in Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU. Along with that, the Party Committee of the Department of Information and Communications has led and directed Party cells to resolutely implement the application of IT and digital transformation, thereby achieving and exceeding 6/12 targets. The work of propaganda, raising digital awareness and digital skills has had many positive changes. Telecommunication infrastructure and shared digital infrastructure have been invested in and upgraded step by step to meet the province's digital transformation needs. Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council had a working session with the Department of Information and Communications.

Concluding the working session, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the results of leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU of the Party Committee of the Department of Information and Communications in the past time. He requested that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Department of Information and Communications continue to strengthen propaganda and dissemination work to further raise awareness and responsibility from leaders of agencies and units to the grassroots, creating consistency in the process of implementing digital transformation. It is necessary to closely coordinate with the Community Digital Technology Team, including in-depth training in digital transformation skills, promoting the role of the Youth Union in developing a digital society; advising on the development of laws and policies to attract human resources related to digital transformation; developing plans to increase the rate and perfect the development of digital infrastructure and databases. Establishing relationships with priority sectors and fields in the resolution such as: Health,education ... to build a digital transformation platform; Specify the content of the resolution, assign tasks and specific targets for each sector to improve the digital economy. In the immediate future, it is necessary to develop a plan to organize activities in response to the upcoming National Digital Transformation Day in 2023.
