On September 13, Supervisory Delegation 1521 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (Head of Supervisory Delegation No. 1) had a working session with the Party Committee of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) on the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU on digital transformation (DT) of Ninh Thuan province in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030.

Implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU, the Party Committee of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and its affiliated units have deployed the application and operation of national database systems as well as available digital technology platforms such as: Electronic Office software system; electronic one-stop system, online public services; electronic information pages of the Department and its affiliated units. Professional management software has also been deployed, such as: Plant protection data management and Pesticide management; Veterinary work management; Fishing vessel monitoring and National Fisheries Database System; Forestry development update software; Forestry statistics monitoring and evaluation; Ninh Thuan irrigation database system software... The whole sector currently has 66 level 4 online public services, including 37 full-service public services and 29 partial full-service public services; In the first 6 months of 2023, 33,886 online applications were received and processed, reaching 99.63%...

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Party Committee of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in leading, directing and organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU on digital transformation in the past time. He requested that the Party Committee of the Department continue to promote propaganda work, thoroughly grasp the viewpoints and spirit of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TU to create a widespread spread throughout the industry. It is necessary to focus on setting goals, promptly deploying digital platforms and software in areas such as: selecting varieties, providing agricultural materials; weather forecasting, forecasting nutritional needs; forecasting productivity, product markets... towards building smart agriculture. Strengthen coordination with the Department of Information and Communications, the Community Digital Technology Team to gradually guide and raise awareness and responsibility for digital transformation for people; review and supplement reports on the implementation of specific targets of the industry to soon complete the assigned tasks.
