The provincial National Assembly delegation collected opinions on draft laws submitted at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

On October 10, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a conference to collect opinions on draft laws to be submitted to the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, including the following laws: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervision Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning; Investment Law; Law on Investment under the form of public-private partnership and Law on Bidding. Attending the conference were comrades: Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Social Committee, Provincial National Assembly Delegate; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Giving opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervision Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils, delegates said that the draft Law needs to unify the supervision process of People's Councils at all levels, expand the composition of the supervision delegation; add annual reports on land use implementation at People's Council sessions; add resolutions on the results of thematic supervision of People's Councils...

Representative of Quang Yen Town commented on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.

Regarding the draft Laws amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning; the Law on Investment; the Law on Investment under the public-private partnership model and the Law on Bidding, delegates proposed that the regulations on investment in ports and port areas must be detailed and specific; the assessment of land use needs must have specific guidelines on criteria; problems in bidding for public investment projects must be resolved; consistency must be ensured and overlaps between laws must be avoided...

Representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment commented on the draft Investment Law.

At the conference, the provincial National Assembly delegates highly appreciated the opinions and contributions to the draft laws. These are practical opinions derived from the practical activities of the prosecution agencies and real life.

At the same time, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will receive and synthesize all the opinions of the delegates to report to the Drafting Committee, and contribute opinions at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
