Delegation of Tuyen Quang province congratulates the Ministry of National Defense on the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

Provincial leaders congratulate the Ministry of National Defense.

The delegation included comrades: Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Dang Van Long, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial People's Committee Office. Also attending was comrade Nguyen Manh Dung, Acting Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee.

General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, received the working delegation of Tuyen Quang province.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga sent her best wishes to General Phan Van Giang and all officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army. She reported to the Minister on the outstanding results in the province's socio-economic development. In 2024, despite many difficulties and challenges, with the attention and support of the Central Government; the drastic, innovative, creative, flexible and effective leadership, direction and management of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee; the efforts, efforts, consensus and joint efforts of all levels, sectors, people of all ethnic groups and the business community, the province has effectively implemented and achieved many important and comprehensive results in all fields.

The province's economy continues to grow, with a gross domestic product growth rate of over 9%.   This is the highest growth rate of the province in the past 10 years. The main indicators in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery; industry, construction; services; budget revenue... all met the plan and increased compared to the same period.

Provincial Party Secretary Ha Thi Nga reported to the Minister on outstanding results in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province.

The province continues to mobilize and effectively use resources for socio-economic development. The quality of cultural and social work has many positive changes. Social security is guaranteed, mobilizing many resources to support the elimination of temporary housing and dilapidated houses for the poor.   households still have difficulties in housing. The people's living standards in all aspects in the province continue to improve; promptly overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3, helping people to soon stabilize their lives. The work of building the Party and the political system has achieved many important results; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization have been enhanced. National defense   strengthened; security, social order and safety are maintained.

General Phan Van Giang congratulated the province on its achievements in recent years. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and struggles of the Party Committee, government and people of Tuyen Quang with many outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, especially the economic growth rate; social security work, eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and policy families. He hoped that Tuyen Quang would continue to promote the tradition of its revolutionary homeland, unite, and strive to build Tuyen Quang province to become more and more developed, worthy of its position as a revolutionary homeland, the Capital of the Liberated Zone, and the Capital of the Resistance.
