On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on July 17 and 18, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, led by comrade Le Tien Lam, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, offered incense and flowers at Can Tho City Cemetery and the cemeteries: O Mon, Binh Thuy, Thot Not in Can Tho City.

The delegation included comrade Le Quang Hung, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Provincial Women's Union, the Department of Information and Communications, Thanh Hoa Newspaper, the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.

Coming to lay wreaths and offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who are resting at the Can Tho City Martyrs' Cemetery and the cemeteries: O Mon, Binh Thuy, Thot Not in Can Tho City - where there are 745 martyrs' graves from Thanh Hoa, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam and members of the delegation expressed their respect and deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, for the happiness of the people.
Before the heroic martyrs, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam and members of the working delegation expressed their determination, solidarity, and overcoming all difficulties and challenges to bring the Party Committee, government, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in the province to successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building an increasingly civilized and modern life, worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.
At the places visited, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Can Tho City for regularly caring for the graves of heroic martyrs nationwide in general and children of Thanh Hoa province in particular.
On this occasion, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province to the cemetery management boards.
