Within the framework of the program to visit Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on April 24, the delegation of Thai Binh province led by comrade Pham Van Nghiem, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with nearly 40 delegates who are cadres, soldiers and those who directly participated in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign visited the "red addresses" in Ho Chi Minh City.

On the morning of April 24, the delegation visited the historical site of Cu Chi tunnels - the former base of the Party Committee and Command of the Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh Military Region. This is an important revolutionary base, marking the heroic history of the army and people of the South in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Here, the delegates visited the tunnels and watched a documentary about the resilient guerrilla war of our army and people.

The delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs at Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple - a work of profound historical and spiritual value. This place engraves the names of more than 44,000 martyrs - outstanding sons from all over the country, including many soldiers from Thai Binh, who died for the independence, unity and freedom of the nation.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited Quang Trung Software Park - one of the typical symbols of the innovative vitality and sustainable development vision of the City named after Uncle Ho. The tour was an opportunity for the delegates to feel more clearly the new appearance of Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years of liberation - a modern, dynamic, creative city, growing strongly to be worthy of the leading role in economy , science and technology of the whole country.

According to the plan, from April 23 to 25, Thai Binh province will organize a delegation of soldiers and people who directly participated in the Great Victory of Spring 1975 to visit Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). This is a meaningful activity, expressing gratitude to the cadres, soldiers and people who directly participated in and contributed to the great victory of Spring 1975.
