On the afternoon of April 24, the National Assembly Delegation held a meeting with voters and workers in Buon Ma Thuot City. More than 130 voters representing workers from units and enterprises in Buon Ma Thuot City attended the meeting.
Delegate Le Thi Thanh Xuan, Deputy Head of the Delegation, in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, spoke at the Conference.
Attending the meeting with voters were National Assembly deputies: Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Deputy Head of the specialized delegation, in charge of the National Assembly delegation of Dak Lak province; Y Vinh Tor - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Committee; Luu Van Duc - Standing member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Le Ngoc Hai - Major General, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5; Nguyen Thi Xuan - Major General, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police.

Participating in the Conference, voters who are cadres, union members and workers presented recommendations focusing on the main contents of insurance, wages, housing and welfare for workers such as: requesting the National Assembly and the Government to consider adjusting Buon Ma Thuot city from region III to region II, so that wages and social insurance contributions of workers are raised, workers can work with peace of mind, and be attached to businesses in the city; creating conditions for union members and workers participating in health insurance to be paid when going to medical facilities outside of working hours and for initial medical examination and treatment at all medical facilities; requesting the State to consider and have policies to build social housing, low-cost housing and create conditions for preferential loans, low interest rates so that workers can have housing, stabilize their lives, and work with peace of mind; Reduce the retirement age for some specific groups of workers such as preschool teachers, direct production workers in toxic and heavy industries...
Voters are also particularly interested in handling units and enterprises that do not properly implement legal provisions related to the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, and Labor Safety and Hygiene Law to ensure the rights of workers.
Previously, voters also listened to the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation inform about the expected content of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly and the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly until now.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Deputy Head of the specialized delegation, in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized that the thematic voter contact program is a forum for National Assembly deputies to contact, listen to, understand the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations, and proposals of voters who are workers on jobs, income, life, as well as perfecting the policy and legal system. This is an opportunity for National Assembly deputies to synthesize and reflect opinions to the National Assembly, relevant agencies and organizations; at the same time, contribute to building policies and laws that are feasible and close to reality. The opinions and recommendations of workers will be received, synthesized and presented by the National Assembly Delegation in the next National Assembly session to promptly meet the legitimate aspirations of voters.
On this occasion, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances at units and enterprises.
