Implementing the Voter Contact Program (TXCT) before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on April 24, the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Lieu province, including National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Hoa Ry - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Le Thi Ngoc Linh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union, had meetings with more than 200 voters of Gia Rai town. Also attending the TXCT were representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, departments, branches, and leaders of Gia Rai town.

Representative of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, National Assembly Delegate Le Thi Ngoc Linh reported to voters on the contents of the agenda of the 9th session. This is a historic session throughout this term; reviewing and deciding on a huge amount of work, many of which are urgent. Including amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, rearranging administrative units at all levels, streamlining the apparatus, ensuring that the operation of the state apparatus is not hindered, interrupted, affecting people and businesses.
At the meeting, voters of Gia Rai town were interested in making recommendations on the issues of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the locality that have not been satisfactorily resolved; the issue of hunger eradication and poverty reduction needs to be substantive and sustainable poverty reduction; attention should be paid to caring for families with preferential policies. Voters were most concerned about the issue of anti-corruption, the damage caused by later cases is higher than previous cases, and needs to be strictly handled. The issue of counterfeit and poor quality goods needs to be strictly handled by law. Some key projects are under construction; degraded roads need to be upgraded and repaired...

On behalf of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Hoa Ry - Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council thanked and acknowledged all opinions and recommendations of voters. For issues under the authority of the Central Government, the Office of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies will synthesize and send them to relevant agencies for research, consideration, resolution, and response to voters as soon as possible; at the same time, it will collect and reflect voters' opinions at the upcoming National Assembly session.
