Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters before the 9th session, 15th National Assembly

At the meeting, delegates watched a report on the activities of the National Assembly Delegation (NAD) of Ben Tre province from November 2024 to March 31, 2025 and the expected program of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly.

After the 8th Session, the National Assembly Delegation of Ben Tre province coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to organize 9 meetings with voters in 9 districts and cities with a total of 1,551 voters attending, 84 voters expressing their opinions.

Through contact with voters, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has compiled 5 petitions from voters and forwarded them to the Petition Committee for consideration and forwarding to competent authorities. To date, the Delegation has received 4 response documents from central ministries and branches in response to 5 petitions from voters.

All responses from central ministries and branches to voters' petitions are sent in writing by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to voters and relevant branches for consideration and resolution.

The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly will consider and decide on many important issues of the country. With the sense of responsibility of elected representatives, the National Assembly Delegation of Ben Tre province pledges to always demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, maximize the role of the People's representatives, focus on carefully studying documents, actively participate in discussions, and contribute to the drafting of draft laws, resolutions as well as other important issues of the country.

At the same time, we will fully and honestly reflect the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of voters and issues of concern to voters through meetings, to be brought to the parliament in the upcoming session.

Voter's statement.

At the meeting, voters agreed and shared the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; at the same time, they were also interested in basically resolving voters' concerns raised in previous meetings.

Voters also shared that relevant agencies have created the best conditions for students to make citizen identification cards; studied the high electricity prices that people have difficulty using electricity at home; clean water has not been guaranteed, water and waste management has not been given attention; the procedures for dividing land for children are too complicated because the process has taken more than half a year and the papers have not been issued; health insurance regime...

The opinions of voters were satisfactorily explained by the relevant agencies; at the same time, the National Assembly delegation also noted the opinions of voters related to major national issues that needed to be reflected to the National Assembly. Through this, the provincial National Assembly deputies also informed voters about the important content of this session and the activities of the provincial National Assembly delegation.
