Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters in Dong Hai district

Implementing the Voter Contact Program (TXCT) before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, on April 22, the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Lieu province, including National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Huy Thai - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Lieu province; National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Thu Dong - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Cultural and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists; representatives of provincial agencies and departments had a meeting with voters in Dong Hai district.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, scheduled to open on May 5, 2025 and close on June 28, 2025. Accordingly, this is a particularly important session of the country, with the plan to amend the 2013 Constitution; consider and pass 30 draft laws and 7 resolutions; give opinions on 6 draft laws. In addition, the National Assembly also considered other draft laws and resolutions to serve the organization of the political system and other draft laws and resolutions to decide on socio-economic development issues; state budget, supervision and other important issues...

Sending their opinions to the National Assembly, voters of Dong Hai district reflected that the construction progress of the East Sea dike upgrading and renovation project is still slow; the issue of naming new commune-level administrative units according to the Central's policy of arranging commune-level administrative units, it is necessary to retain historical names; in the process of arranging cadres when arranging the organization of the political system, it is necessary to select people with virtue, talent, heart and vision to take on leadership positions. In addition, voters also raised a number of issues of concern such as: the issuance of land use right certificates is still facing difficulties; it is necessary to consider resolving the regime and policies for non-professional cadres when this group is no longer working according to the Party and State's policies; investing in dialysis machines for medical stations in the district to take better care of people's health. Voters are also worried that when salaries increase, the cost of buying health insurance will increase, while people with low incomes are disadvantaged.

Speaking at the end of the meeting with voters, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thai - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation requested the local government and provincial departments and branches to answer voters' opinions. At the same time, he noted the opinions under the authority of the Central level to present to ministries and branches at the upcoming National Assembly session.
