On the morning of August 30, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), the delegation of provincial leaders offered incense at the provincial Martyrs' Temple in Thien Ton town (Hoa Lu); the provincial Martyrs' Memorial in Dong Thanh ward (Ninh Binh city); and offered incense at the tomb of the late President Tran Dai Quang (Quang Thien commune, Kim Son).
Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrades: Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tong Quang Thin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; heads of provincial armed forces units; leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors, and organizations; secretaries of district, city, and affiliated Party Committees.
At the provincial Martyrs' Temple (Thien Ton town, Hoa Lu), the provincial delegation offered incense to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the revolutionary cause of national liberation and reunification. In the wars to protect the fatherland, Ninh Binh province had more than 16 thousand outstanding children who heroically sacrificed and were recognized as martyrs. Before the souls of the heroic martyrs, the provincial delegation took a minute to commemorate, express gratitude and demonstrate the determination to unite with the Party Committee, army and people in the province, join hands and unite to build Ninh Binh homeland to become more and more prosperous and civilized.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, on behalf of the Party Committee, army and people in the province, the provincial delegation laid wreaths and respectfully offered incense, expressing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Ninh Binh province for the great contributions of the outstanding children of Ninh Binh who fought and heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
On the same morning, the provincial delegation offered incense, flowers and observed a minute of silence at the tomb of the late President Tran Dai Quang - an outstanding son of his homeland Ninh Binh.
During his lifetime, no matter what position he held, the late President was always close to, concerned about, and deeply devoted to his homeland. The life, career, and contributions of the late President have marked another milestone in the history of his homeland and country.
The Party Committee, army and people of Ninh Binh vow to inherit and promote the glorious tradition of their homeland, unite and overcome all difficulties and challenges, promote internal strength, seize opportunities, strive to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, determined to strive to build Ninh Binh by 2030 to basically meet the criteria and by 2035 to become a centrally-run city, with the characteristics of a Millennium Heritage City, a creative city...
