Ms. Leyla Aliyeva's visit is an activity to continue the tradition of friendship between the two peoples that has been built over the past 65 years.

Speaking at the reception, Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Ha, Principal of Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism, affirmed that the friendship between the two countries was built on history and trust: from President Ho Chi Minh's official visit to Baku in 1959, to the years after the war when thousands of Azerbaijani experts came to Vietnam to support the country's reconstruction and more than 5,000 Vietnamese students came to study in Azerbaijan.

"These are vivid symbols of deep and sincere international solidarity that we will always remember. Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism is deeply moved and honored to be the first destination in Vietnam during the official visit of Ms. Leyla Aliyeva, a dedicated cultural and humanitarian ambassador who is continuing the legacy of Leader Heydar Aliyev," emphasized Dr. Trinh Thi Thu Ha.

Ms. Leyla Aliyeva expressed her emotion when visiting the Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism, especially when there were alumni who studied in Azerbaijan. She believed that the two countries would continue student exchange activities like the previous generation did.

“The working trip to Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism is not only to show gratitude to a country with a long-standing relationship with Azerbaijan, but also to open up opportunities for cooperation in humanitarian fields such as education, music, art, culture, academia…”, Ms. Leyla Aliyeva shared.

At the event, Ms. Leyla Aliyeva and the delegation, former Vietnamese students who studied and worked in Azerbaijan and school representatives took souvenir photos at the specially designed Vietnam - Azerbaijan Friendship ceramic painting on the campus of Hanoi College of Commerce and Tourism.
