(kontumtv.vn) – On the occasion of the traditional New Year of Cho Cho-nam Tho-may of the Cambodian people , a high-ranking delegation of Kon Tum province led by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan and his wife visited and congratulated Ratanakiri province, Kingdom of Cambodia on the morning of April 9. Receiving the delegation were His Excellency Khan Chom-nan, Deputy Governor and leaders of departments and branches of Ratanakiri province.

On behalf of the leaders of Kon Tum province, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan wished good health, happiness and success to Mr. Khan Chom-nan, Deputy Governor, the government and people of Ratanakiri province; wished the cooperative relationship between the two provinces to continue to achieve greater results, contributing to developing the friendly relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia to a new height. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan suggested that the two sides continue to cooperate in opening the pair of secondary border gates Ho Le, Kon Tum, Vietnam - Border Police Station 505, Ratanakiri province, Kingdom of Cambodia; creating opportunities for businesses of both sides to invest in economic development; helping and facilitating the integration of the Cambodian community of Vietnamese origin living in Ratanakiri province according to current conditions and legal procedures. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Tuan thanked and hoped that Ratanakiri province would continue to support Kon Tum province in searching, collecting and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Ratanakiri for burial.

On the occasion of the visit and traditional New Year greetings of the Cambodian people in 2025, Kon Tum province presented 1 billion VND to Ratanakiri province and presented gifts and New Year greetings to the high-ranking delegation of Ratanakiri province.

On behalf of Ratanakiri province, Mr. Khan Chom-nan, Deputy Governor, thanked the high-ranking delegation of Kon Tum province for their visit and New Year greetings; committed to advising the government to promote friendly cooperation with Kon Tum province according to the contents discussed and exchanged by the two sides./.
