VOV delegation exchanges with officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3

At the meeting, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien gave an overview of the process of formation, construction, development, and outstanding results in performing the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty; search and rescue missions, and accompanying fishermen to go offshore and stick to the sea in Region 3 in recent times.

Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Board of Directors, officers, reporters and editors of VOV for their attention, help and support to Region 3 in propaganda work. This is truly a source of encouragement for officers and soldiers of Region 3 to strive to excellently complete assigned tasks.

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Vu Hai Quang, Deputy General Director of the Voice of Vietnam, thanked the Chief of the Command of Region 3 for his thoughtful welcome and hoped that in the coming time, the two units would have close exchanges and coordination in propaganda work to promptly, extensively and more effectively inform the press about the great contributions to the cause of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Navy in general and Region 3 in particular.

The delegation also participated in the flag-raising ceremony with officers and soldiers of Brigade 172 at the Military Port of Region 3; visited training activities, built regular discipline on combat ships and exchanged and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3.
