Delegation of Korea Testing and Research Institute worked with Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee

The two sides discussed the implementation plan of the contents agreed in the MOU.

Welcoming and welcoming the delegation to visit and work in Thai Nguyen, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his appreciation for the attention and active promotion of coordination activities to implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in November 2024 between Thai Nguyen province and KTR and partners with survey activities, technical exchanges and cooperation in feasibility studies on projects to reduce emissions, create and determine carbon credits in Thai Nguyen.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed the implementation plan of the contents agreed in the MOU, focusing on supporting greenhouse gas inventory in Thai Nguyen province; surveying, assessing potential and implementing emission reduction projects, creating and determining carbon credits; building a Data Center, supporting carbon neutrality.

Thanking the warm welcome of the leaders of Thai Nguyen province, Mr. Kim Huyn Cheol, Chairman of KTR, said that to implement the contents agreed in the MOU, cooperation from many parties is needed. KTR introduced Crocus Company of Korea which can help implement carbon neutral solutions and introduced solutions being applied in Korea to factories in Thai Nguyen. He also expressed his desire to contribute to Thai Nguyen in realizing the goal of green growth, towards the common goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

This morning, the KTR delegation attended a training conference on the implementation of greenhouse gas inventory reports and greenhouse gas emission reduction plan reports held at May Plaza Hotel (Thai Nguyen City).
