On March 29, the delegation of Da Lat city, Lam Dong province organized a journey to the revolutionary base in Ma Noi commune, Ninh Son district, Ninh Thuan province. This is a gratitude activity, demonstrating the responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Lat city, contributing to the development of the revolutionary base area.

Speaking at the event, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Da Lat City People's Council Ngo Thi My Loi emphasized that during the resistance wars against the French and the Americans to save the country, Ma Noi was a very important revolutionary base of Ninh Thuan province. Through the resistance wars against foreign invaders to protect their homeland, the outstanding children of Ma Noi were brave in combat, not afraid of hardships and sacrifices, with a strong will to regain independence and freedom for their homeland and country.

The journey back to the source of the Da Lat City delegation today is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Lat (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025). Thereby, expressing gratitude to families of policy beneficiaries, people with revolutionary contributions and the responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Da Lat City, contributing to the development of the revolutionary base area.

Ma Noi Commune is a particularly difficult mountainous commune of Ninh Son district, with a population of more than 5,180 people and 1,323 households; of which, more than 96% are Raglai ethnic minority people.

Comrade Ma Nhong Nhip informed that in 2002, Ma Noi commune was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the State and according to Decision No. 281, dated February 19, 2020 of the Prime Minister, Ma Noi was recognized as a Safe Zone commune during the resistance war against France and the US.
