The Department of Health delegation visited and worked with Long Huong Social Protection Facility

Long Huong Social Protection Facility is the only non-public unit in Lao Cai province that takes care of orphans; abandoned children, children who have lost their source of care; children who have lost one parent but the other parent is not capable of raising them according to the law. Currently, the Facility is managing and caring for 21 social protection beneficiaries, of which 9 children are in primary school, 11 children are in middle school and 1 child is in high school.

The delegation presented gifts to Long Huong Social Protection Facility.

In particular, in addition to receiving education and comprehensive health care, these children will receive vocational training right at the facility.

At the working session, the working delegation of the Department of Health acknowledged the efforts of Long Huong Protection Facility in caring for and providing vocational training for children in especially difficult circumstances...
