Lao National Treasury delegation visited and worked at Thanh Hoa Provincial State Treasury

Implementing the bilateral cooperation program between the State Treasury of Vietnam and the National Treasury of Laos in 2024, the Lao National Treasury delegation led by Mr. Viengsone Phetsynouan, Head of the Legal and International Cooperation Department, recently visited and worked with the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa province to study, survey and exchange experiences on a number of treasury operations.

Representative of the State Treasury of Vietnam received the Lao National Treasury Delegation at the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa province.

Mr. Le Van Khoa, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of International Cooperation of the State Treasury, together with leaders of the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa province chaired the meeting and worked with the delegation of the Lao National Treasury.

At the reception, Mr. Le Van Khoa, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of International Cooperation of the State Treasury of Vietnam, was pleased to welcome the delegation of the Lao National Treasury to visit and work at the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa in the Bilateral Cooperation Program between the two countries' Treasuries. At the same time, he requested the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa to create all conditions for the Lao National Treasury delegation to research, survey and exchange experiences so that the content and working program can achieve high results.

Deputy Director in charge of Thanh Hoa Provincial Treasury Nguyen Van Tuan chaired the working session with the Lao National Treasury delegation.

During the working program, representatives of Thanh Hoa State Treasury provided an overview of the socio-economic situation, potentials and strengths of Thanh Hoa province; introduced the organizational model and apparatus of Thanh Hoa State Treasury, exchanged experiences in the field of State budget management and State budget expenditure control through the Treasury system at Thanh Hoa Provincial State Treasury.

Lao National Treasury delegation visited and surveyed the application software at Thanh Hoa Provincial Treasury.

On November 28-29, the delegation worked and exchanged practical experiences at the State Treasury of Hoang Hoa district and Sam Son city, focusing on learning about management methods on software and applications currently applied in the Vietnam State Treasury system such as Online Public Services, TABMIS, TTSP, TTLNH...

Mr. Viengsone Phetsynouan, Head of the Legal and International Cooperation Department of the Lao National Treasury, spoke at the meeting.

At the end of the visit and working session at the State Treasury of Thanh Hoa province, Mr. Viengsone Phetsynouan, Head of the Legal and International Cooperation Department, Head of the Lao National Treasury delegation, thanked the Thanh Hoa Provincial Treasury for their warm, friendly and thoughtful reception; and hoped that in the coming time, the State Treasury of Vietnam and the Lao National Treasury will continue to promote activities according to the bilateral cooperation program of the two sides.
