The working group surveyed the actual situation of coastal areas and islands, visited and gave gifts in Phu Quy district.

On April 23, the working delegation conducting a field survey of coastal areas and islands from Binh Thuan province to Phu Yen province in 2025 visited and worked in Phu Quy district (Binh Thuan province). The working delegation was led by Colonel Le Van Tu - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command, along with representatives of specialized agencies under the Coast Guard Region 3 Command, leaders of departments, branches, functional forces and local authorities of the provinces. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department was the Head of the Khanh Hoa Provincial working delegation.

The leaders of Phu Quy district shared some practical experiences in developing the marine economy and ensuring security and order at sea in the district. At the meeting, Colonel Le Van Tu emphasized that the practical experiences from Phu Quy district will be a valuable source of information for the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 and coastal provinces to have more effective solutions in advising the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense on ensuring national security, order and safety at sea, developing a sustainable marine economy and combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.

Members of the working group gave necessities, life jackets and national flags to fishermen.

On the same morning, the working delegation presented 10 gifts including necessities, life jackets and national flags to fishing households operating in traditional fishing grounds around the island.
