
Hung King Temple in Can Tho is a large cultural project, built on an area of 4 hectares, located on Vo Van Kiet - Dang Van Day Street, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City. The project started construction in 2019.

In addition to the main temple, the Hung Kings Temple grounds also include auxiliary structures such as gardens, incense areas, artifact display areas, and festival facilities. The temple has an ancient architecture imbued with national identity, with items such as the three-entrance gate, garden, main hall worshiping the Hung Kings and deities, and auxiliary buildings.
In particular, the roof of the temple is designed in a curved style, bearing the mark of traditional Vietnamese architecture. The architecture of the main temple has the image of a stylized bronze drum, with square and round blocks symbolizing heaven and earth. This area has 18 arcs, symbolizing the 18 Hung Kings and 54 equally spaced areas symbolizing the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam.

On holidays, especially the Hung King's death anniversary (March 10th of the lunar calendar), at the Hung King Temple, the People's Committee of Can Tho City organizes many cultural and religious activities, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate.

On the occasion of the Hung Kings' death anniversary in 2025, at the Hung Kings Temple in Can Tho, many unique cultural activities will take place such as: Incense offering ceremony, the five-color flag-raising ceremony symbolizing the spirit of national solidarity; performance of traditional Vietnamese costumes; Photo exhibition "Can Tho Literature and Arts 50 years (1975 - 2025).
In particular, the 12th Southern Traditional Cake Festival will take place from April 4 to 8, 2025 at Binh Thuy District Square, with about 230 booths including traditional cakes, regional specialties, traditional cuisine and ornamental flowers.
