On the morning of March 24, 2024, the Youth Union branch of Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (DHD) and other Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union organizations in Bao Loc city, Lam Dong province, participated in the "Youth Union's Sponsored Children" program at First Team Garment Co., Ltd. in Loc Son Industrial Park. The program was organized by the Bao Loc City Youth Union to allow local Youth Union branches to sponsor disadvantaged children in the area.
Through this program, the Youth Union of the DHD Company collaborated with the Youth Union of Loc Son Ward to investigate the living conditions of disadvantaged children in the ward. The two units have sponsored Le Ngoc Dan Minh, a young girl, as a "Youth Union foster child" and provide her with monthly material support.
Little Le Ngoc Dan Minh has become the "adopted child" of the Youth Union branch of the DHD Company.
Five-year-old Le Ngoc Dan Minh is attending the preschool class at Huong Duong Private Kindergarten in Loc Son Ward, Bao Loc City. Her family is facing financial difficulties; her father is ill, and her mother works as a factory worker at First Team Garment Co., Ltd.
According to the participants at the event, "The Youth Union's Foster Children" is a humane program with many positive meanings, demonstrating the Youth Union's support for disadvantaged students and children to help them overcome difficulties in life. This is also a meaningful activity of the Youth Union during Youth Month 2024.
To date, the "Youth Union's Foster Children" model has gained the trust of young people, the support of local authorities and social organizations. In this model, the Youth Union plays a key role in caring for disadvantaged students and children with enthusiasm and overflowing love.
In addition to providing material support, the Youth Union branches also regularly visit and encourage their "foster children" in their lives, promptly supporting them in their studies; and at the same time, serving as a source of emotional support for them .
