At Trang An wharf, since the afternoon of August 27, the Management Board of the tourist area has prepared human resources, banners, and flags to welcome the Indian billionaire's delegation. On the morning of August 28, leaders of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism were also present early, before the Indian delegation arrived to check the preparations.
At around 11am the same day, the first guests of the 4,500-person tourist group brought by the Indian billionaire to Vietnam arrived at Trang An Tourist Area. These guests were excited and happy after traveling more than 100km from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, arriving at the main tourist destination on the second day in Vietnam.
Mr. Pham Duy Phong, Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, on behalf of the province's tourism industry, welcomed and presented flowers to the Indian tourists who came to the historic Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage since 2014.
Before checking in, Indian guests visited the antique gallery of Trang An Eco-tourism Area, taking the opportunity to capture beautiful images before going through the ticket control gate to board the boat to explore the unique world heritage of Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
The weather in Ninh Binh is sunny and hot. However, Indian tourists are still very excited and happy to be in a place with majestic and green natural beauty.
To ensure safety, all visitors taking a boat to visit the Trang An World Heritage Site must wear life jackets. From the pier, the boatman will take the group down the Sao Khe River to admire the majestic mountains, through caves, to the sacred temples and shrines of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, which has a history of more than 1,000 years.
The leader of Ninh Binh Tourism Department said that on the first day of welcoming the Indian billionaire's group, there were about 800 tourists visiting Trang An heritage. The group was arranged a separate path, rowed boats along a separate tour route and had attentive and enthusiastic tour guides.
At around 2pm, there were still Indian tourists visiting Trang An heritage site. The tourists got off the boat early after finishing the tour and then returned to the car to have a meal at a restaurant more than 5km away from the tourist site.
