Do Manh Cuong opens Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2024

This event marks the 18th edition of Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week (AVIFW).

Ms. Trang Le, President of AVIFW, said that the theme of this fashion event series is Fashion Evolution - New steps in fashion . The program emphasizes innovation, creativity and new steps of Vietnamese fashion in the next decade. The designer who will open this event is Do Manh Cuong - Creative Director of two brands SIXDO and DMC by DO MANH CUONG.

This is the first time designer Do has performed on the catwalk of Vietnam International Fashion Week.

Do Manh Cuong is a designer with many active activities both domestically and internationally. The male designer recently presented his new collection at Shanghai Fashion Week , China. Previously, he performed at New York Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2024 , held his own show in Australia and made his mark with a series of regular domestic shows from 2007 to present.

Earlier this year, the male designer brought a pleasant surprise to the fashion industry when he launched the DMC brand, which evokes innovation in women's dressing style, targeting young people with dynamic and individual fashion styles. In the eyes of experts, he is a pioneer designer in rejuvenating brands - a trend that has been applied by many major fashion houses in the world in recent years.

As the opening designer for AVIFW fall/winter 2024 , he will convey the spirit of innovation and creativity in fashion and delve into applied fashion in life.

In addition to the runway show like previous seasons, the AVIFW season 18 also has a Conference on Consumer Trends in 2026, which promises to bring useful information to fashion brands in planning business strategies. The series of events takes place from November 13 to 16 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
