Diva My Linh sings a special song at the memorial concert for Associate Professor Ton That Bach

On the evening of March 22, at Hanoi Medical University, an art program called "My Teacher" took place to honor Associate Professor Ton That Bach on the 20th anniversary of his death. During the night of gratitude and remembrance, Diva My Linh performed the song "Let the Wind Take You Away" composed by the late musician Trinh Cong Son.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the death of Associate Professor Ton That Bach and to express gratitude for the great contributions of teachers to the younger generation, the Youth Union of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and the Youth Union of Hanoi Medical University jointly organized an art exchange music night called "My Teacher".
The art exchange program was attended by doctors, students of the University of Medicine, generations of students of Associate Professor Ton That Bach and guests: Professor Nguyen Huu Tu, President of Hanoi Medical University; Professor Doan Quoc Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Cardiovascular Thoracic Center, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, Head of the Department of Surgery, Hanoi Medical University; Professor Tran Binh Giang, former Director of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital; Dr. Duong Duc Hung, Director of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.

In the memorial concert for Associate Professor Ton That Bach, Diva My Linh performed the song "Let the wind take you away" composed by the late musician Trinh Cong Son.
Singer My Linh expressed: "On behalf of all those who have been cared for by doctors and nurses to have a good life, I would like to send my most sincere thanks and gratitude to Professor Ton That Bach as well as the doctors who have always given love to the patients."
People's Artist Quoc Hung and Meritorious Artist Quyen Van Minh expressed their feelings for Associate Professor Ton That Bach through the song "A lifetime, a forest".
Sharing about special memories with Associate Professor Ton That Bach, Dr. Duong Duc Hung - Director of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital recalled: "Perhaps, the first lessons about medical ethics I learned through meetings with him. He always advised, to operate on patients like operating on family members."
At the program, touching films/images and live exchanges will honor the achievements and contributions of generations of doctors in the cause of protecting people's health and for the development of science (medicine).
Professor Doan Quoc Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Cardiovascular Thoracic Center, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, Head of the Department of Surgery, Hanoi Medical University, his student shared: "There is a memory with him that I will probably never forget, that is, during my time working, he saw that I was still not married, so he kept urging me to get married, and he promised to be my wedding master. True to his promise, on September 17, 2003, Mr. Bach was present to officiate the wedding and also acted as the MC for the two families. Later, I learned that he was scheduled to go to the border for work, but before leaving, he still stopped by to be my wedding master because of his previous promise."
The saying “study well, dream a lot, love passionately” by Associate Professor Ton That Bach is the slogan printed on the uniform of students of Hanoi Medical University. This is also the secret and pride of each generation of medical students shared at the program.
Associate Professor Ton That Bach has inherited and developed excellently the achievements in hepatobiliary surgery and cardiovascular surgery that the late Professor - Academician Ton That Tung left behind. With his "golden hands", he has saved the lives of many patients, gained a lot of surgical experience to develop the hepatobiliary surgery and cardiovascular surgery in Vietnam. He also trained and guided many generations of students to become talented doctors, promoting medical ethics in the mission of saving people.
My Teacher - the name of the program, is also the name of the song written specifically for Associate Professor Ton That Bach, through the special and impressive memories of a student for his beloved teacher.
