According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (Department of Hydro-Meteorology, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), during the upcoming April 30 - May 1 holiday, the weather nationwide will be basically favorable, with no unusual natural disasters, creating favorable conditions for tourism, entertainment, and outdoor events.
A representative of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that in the Northern region, the weather trend during the holidays and the first days of May is expected to be generally less rainy and temperatures will increase slightly. In the following days, around May 3-4, the Northern region may experience localized heat waves.
In the Central region, the weather during the April 30-May 1 holiday is forecast to remain hot, but not as severe as the end of April. In the South, the heat will also continue over a large area, with temperatures ranging from 34-37 degrees Celsius.
Regarding the weather situation before the holiday, a representative of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from tomorrow, April 19, provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will begin to record widespread heat waves, with the highest temperatures commonly ranging from 35-37 degrees Celsius; in some places, temperatures may exceed 37 degrees Celsius.
From April 21, the heat wave is forecast to spread to the entire Northern region (including Hanoi) and the Southern provinces. The highest temperature during the day in the Northern region (including Hanoi) is forecast to be from 35-36 degrees Celsius, with some places reaching over 37 degrees Celsius.
In the Central region, the common temperature is from 36-38 degrees Celsius, the highest place can be over 39 degrees Celsius. In the Southern region, the common temperature is from 35-37 degrees Celsius.
In the Northern region, the hot weather is forecasted to last until April 22; in the Central region, the hot weather is likely to last until April 23. In the Southern region, the hot weather is also forecasted to continue for many days to come.
From April 23-28, the northern provinces are likely to experience showers and thunderstorms, temperatures will decrease, and the heat wave will temporarily end.
The Central region will also experience mild weather from April 23-28. Accordingly, the heat wave will narrow and only appear locally./.
